Recruiters Identify Top 10 In-Demand Technology Skills

The tech recruiting market is active and hiring managers have defined the priorities to start 2012.

OneNote's notebook-like interface is very handy for organizing information. It provides a straightforward way to corral text, images and video clips so that your inspiration doesn't get bogged down, leaving more heavy-duty programs like Word to do the heavier lifting and polishing of your ideas.

CustomGuide added the "Microsoft OneNote 2010 Reference Guide" to the IT Downloads library to facilitate online IT training. The quick reference offers tips and "working knowledge" so that you (or trainees) can master the fundamentals and create project ideas, drafts or other productivity-enhancing material. New for the 2010 version of OneNote is the helpful Ribbon, new Web-sharing options and backwards-compatible file formatting.

The guide also covers:

  • Getting familiar with the OneNote screen
  • Using keyboard shortcuts
  • Formatting text
  • Using the Drawing and Graphics Toolbar
  • Performing Notebook tasks
  • Assigning and grouping tags
  • Sharing notes over the Web, the network, SharePoint or Windows Live SkyDrive
