Video Conferencing, Telecommuting Spur Lower Travel Costs

Video conferencing is growing in popularity thanks to the recession, IT Business Edge editor Ann All writes. Cisco says it trimmed its annual travel budget from $750 million to $240 million, and HP reports a 30 percent drop in travel costs. Both companies credit video conferencing for the savings, according to an article on
