Make Your User Profile Work for You

Upon registering for an IT Business Edge account, users will have an opportunity to go to the "My Account" page (the link is on the top right of all ITBE pages). In the picture below, the "My Account" link is circled.




The "My Account" page allows users to add company contact information, a short biography of the user or company and a direct link to the company or person's Web page. I highly recommend that all users visit this page to ensure maximum exposure within the ITBE site and Knowledge Network. The picture below illustrates what your profile page will look like when users click on your name next to a comment or post you have made.




If you click on the tab next to your profile, you will see all of the comments, documents and other activities that the user has created while as a registered user of IT Business Edge. If that page is empty, then that user needs to head to the discussion board and post a question or thought, or look at the hundreds of Knowledge Network documents to download and leave us a thought about what they were able to achieve with the document or what they would do to improve that tool. You should do the same.
