Here at IT Business Edge, we've found that writing about corporate policies for dealing with social media to be good for traffic. Former moderator Patrick Avery found social media policies to be among the most popular tools in the Knowledge Network during 2009, and we see that interest continuing. That tells us that companies are struggling with this.


Bloggers Ann All and Lora Bentley have added advice from experts. Ann wrote: Don't put proprietary information in your Facebook status updates. Don't get too snarky with your tweets. Added Lora: Communicate clearly, use privacy controls and don't post pictures, notes or other information that will cast you (or your employer) in a bad light.
