That's awesome. For a small business, cloud storage can be a real money-saver.
For the larger guys who already have a significant investment in networked storage, the private cloud solutions get you the flexibility of the cloud without having to junk all that hardware before its time. Plus you still retain total control of your data.

I run a small business of 10 people and the biggest problem we have is sharing files, emails, instant messaging threads between each other and ensuring our data is backed up. Some of our guys use Facebook, some use FTP to our company. It's a real hodge podge of where the files are and has been a growing problem for a while.
I've been meaning to tackle this for a while and finally got around to it at the weekend and the solution was reasonably simplistic, cloud storage with some added channels and services on top. After trawling site after site I finally settled on SMEStorage.com who actually don't do storage but are an enabler for storage services. Using their site I took an Amazon S3 account but, and this is a significant but, the site allowed me to tie in our FTP files, email files, and instant messaging files so the data was all available as one virtual file system. This meant the guys could continue using what they were used to, FTP, etc but we could all see the data in a File Manager. Even better, now all our data is scheduled to back up to Amazon S3.
I'm really happy with the solution we ended up with and it only took under an hour to setup. I believe for small businesses this type of "off premise" solution is ideal, whether you call it cloud or whatever.
