Still More Options for Spreadsheet Compliance

Lora Bentley

Early this month, Compassoft CEO Paul Bach shared spreadsheet compliance tips in an IT Business Edge interview. If you're still looking for the technology that's appropriate for your business, CIMCON Software offers yet another option: SOX-XL Spreadsheet Controls.

ThomasNet reports that the software enables "cell-level audit trails" and includes e-mail alerting, collaboration and workflow management, as well as reporting functionality. Company information indicates improvements in the newest SOX-XL release were largely driven by user feedback and customer requests.

It's certainly worth checking out one of the key leading spreadsheet controls products on the Lyquidity website. Their product, ComplyXL, ensures full change control, version history, with permissions for user roles. The product can be trialled at no cost to the organization, and for an enterprise spreadsheet control system, works out at around $10,000, making spreadsheet compliance attainable for a full range of companies.
