Despite a preliminary injunction against sales of its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in every other European country - and a pending request to enjoin its sales in the Netherlands - Samsung plans to launch the tablet in the Dutch market Tuesday.
A company spokeswoman told AFP, "Whatever the decision, we can continue our business as planned until October 13." Judge Edger Brinkman indicated he will rule on Apple's request to enjoin sales of the Galaxy Tab in the Netherlands by Sept. 15. If he grants the injunction, Samsung will have until October 13 to comply with the order.
It's unclear what effect, if any, sales during the next month will have on the court's ultimate decision. Samsung and Apple have been embroiled in litigation over patent and design infringement for some time.
