Google's Jaiku Purchase Refuels GPhone Rumors

Google announced yesterday it has acquired Jaiku, a startup that makes a messaging application for mobile phones. The news has undoubtedly revived rumors that Google is working on a mobile platform.

 

The New York Times reports the company has yet to confirm the mobile platform/phone rumors, but notes that product manager Tony Hsieh says the new technology can be used to develop new ways to use mobile devices.
