Lora Bentley

Mozilla is gearing up for a 24-hour Web conference for developers, according to vnunet.com. The conference will take place Sept. 13-14 at yet-to-be-determined live sites in the United States, Europe and Japan, but will also be available online via virtual machines provided by the WIDE Project's School on the Internet.

According to company information, the conference will include "presentations, panel discussions, online contests and music festivals." Google's Dr. Vint Cerf and Dr. Lawrence Lessig, who founded the Center for Internet and Society at Stanford University Law School, are slated to speak.
