Anyone who's done any work with Sarbanes-Oxley knows that it requires retention of certain records and reporting on certain transactions that occur within a publicly traded company, and that those records include e-mail and instant messaging. But for those who don't have much experience in the field or are just learning the ropes, it can be easy to forget that those records also include telephone calls and voice messages.
