Android Phone Ready to Debut Down Under

Lora Bentley

The first Android phone to debut in Australia won't be the T-Mobile HTC G1, according to CNET News. Instead, Australian-owned Kogan Technologies will ship an Android-based phone called Agora to customers on Jan. 29.

CNET says the basic phone includes a QWERTY keyboard with central navigation key, 2.5-inch touch screen and 3G connectivity, and it's priced at $193.90. The Agora Pro boasts additional features, like a camera and GPS, and will sell at a higher price.
