I've blogged several times about SMBs and outsourcing, highlighting research that indicates that SMBs tend to be happier than big companies with their outsourcing experiences, wondering why so few SMBs outsource, and offering some tips on how SMBs can get started.
Along the lines of the latter post linked to above, HR World just published an exhaustive piece titled 100 Small Businesses Tips and Tricks for Effectively Outsourcing to India.
Oddly, despite the title, much of the advice offered isn't really specific to India. Among the information included: a 13-step list that walks you through the outsourcing process, from defining areas to be outsourced to considerations to include in an outsourcing contract; a list of seven dos and don'ts; and a list of 22 online resources that SMBs can use to find outsourcing providers, including several I've blogged about previously, including Amazon's Mechanical Turk.
There is also a list of a dozen online resources that relate directly to offshoring, including several sites that focus exclusively on India.
