Sprint Selling off Its Cell Phone Towers
Sprint Nextel is expected to raise $670 million in cash after selling its cell phone towers to North Carolina-based TowerCo.

Domestic outsourcing firm Accenture is adding a Green Technology Suite to its services.
Forrester Research predicts that green IT consulting services will be a $4.8 billion industry by 2013. According to InfoWorld, Accenture’s new tools are designed to assist companies in evaluating their environmental standing and offer advice on ways to reduce their carbon footprint.

Memory Chip Maker to Close Only U.S. Plant
The world’s second-largest memory chip manufacturer, Hynix Semiconductor, said it will close its only U.S. plant by the end of September, according to an Associated Press story in The Boston Globe.
It blamed changes in production standards and steep price declines for the decision.
