of experience in the media and publishing industries. He was
an executive member of the founding team at TechRepublic and
a senior vice president at CNET. Prior to TechRepublic, Phil
was publisher of IDG's InfoWorld and spent 10 years at Reed
Elsevier.
Kim Spalding
Chief Financial Officer
Kim has more than 13 years experience in the publishing industry.
She was co-founder of TechRepublic and served as its CFO. Kim
also was vice president of finance at The Cobb Group.
Jon Pyles
Executive Vice President, Subscriber Products
Jon has participated in the startup and growth of four successful
information-publishing businesses. Most recently, he was an
executive member of the founding team at TechRepublic. Jon also
was vice president of circulation at The Cobb Group.
Ken Stout
Vice President, Sales
Ken's career as a senior sales executive in the publishing industry
spans more than two decades. He was vice president of advertising
sales and operations at GameSpy Industries. Ken also held sales
management positions at CNET Networks, TechRepublic, CMP Media,
Expoconsul International, and Colgate Palmolive.
Jeff Yocom
Vice President, Marketing
Jeff worked in media relations at the University of Louisville before embarking on a 19-year career in technology publishing. Experienced in virtually
ever aspect of the industry, he was editorial director and group publisher
at The Cobb Group before serving as business development director and senior vice president of content development
at TechRepublic. He is also chair of Novels In Progress Workshop, an annual
writing conference.

After starting his career as a newspaper reporter, Ken moved
into technical journalism as a writer for The Cobb Group, a
leading publisher of technology-centric print newsletters. He
went on to join the start-up team for TechRepublic, where he
was director of editorial development.

Troy has over 20 years of strategic information technology management
